Is this bag waterproof?

The bags are made from a water resistant TPU-coated fabric, although not 100% waterproof as the seams are not sealed this bag will keep your equipment dry in all but the most torrential conditions.

How much gear can I carry in the Bravo shoulder bag?

The Bravo can hold a camera body and 1-2 lenses depending on your setup (sometimes 3 at a squeeze).

Can I use this as a standard messenger style bag?

Yes you can. The padded camera inserts may be removed which allows the bag to be used as a standard messenger style bag with space for an iPad and a few books/notebooks.
