SLIK PRO 500DX With ABLE 300DX Head
The SLIK Pro 500DX has a ABLE 300DX HEAD 3-way pan head with quick release for easy mounting and removal of a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
SLIK’s exclusive AMT super titanium alloy legs make the PRO 500 tripods rock steady yet lighter than it looks. “What’s so great about AMT alloy?” You may be thinking. AMT has a 40% greater strength to weight ratio than standard aluminum. The legs are lighter weight yet stronger than the standard metal used in most of today’s tripods. This lightweight comes with a price comparable to other standard aluminum tripods.
The SLIK Pro 500DX also makes setting up easy with secure, speed-release leg locks.
A gearless center column and 3-position, adjustable angle leg locks allow easy set-up on uneven ground or steps.
The SLIK Pro 500DX center column is two threaded pieces that convert the top piece to a short column.
Combined with the adjustable leg angle locks the tripod lowers to 350mm for low angle or macro photography.

GROOVED TUBULAR LEGS
The groove, in the already dynamically strong circular tubing, prevents the leg from spinning around, and allows simple and secure locking. It also allows you to extend the leg from any section, regardless of the order. (except PRO 400DX & ABLE 300DX).
GEARLESS, DETACHABLE & INVERTIBLE CENTER COLUMN
Just loosen locking collar, and pull up. Camera height and direction can be adjusted in one motion. For extremely low angle positioning without changing an optional center column.
